This teaching card is part of Bug Club, the first whole-school reading programme that joins books with an online reading world to teach today's children to read. SUMMARISING Ask a volunteer to summarise Part 1 of the story. Ask the rest of the group to remember the tensions in the relationship between the boys. Ask volunteers to summarise Part 2, again asking the rest of the group to add details. Ask the children to talk about change in the boys' relationship.
