This teaching card is part of Bug Club, the first whole-school reading programme that joins books with an online reading world to teach today's children to read. SUMMARISING Ask one child what the poem is about. Ask each member of the group to remember a different thing that is seen from the train. Ask children to describe how the train is travelling and how they know this.
