This teaching card is part of Bug Club, the first whole-school reading programme that joins books with an online reading world to teach today's children to read. SUMMARISING Were children's predictions about what might happen next accurate? What happened to Wind Runner? Ask children to work as a group to retell the whole story. Prompt children to use a variety of descriptive language devices to develop the setting and mood of the story.
