Bryte's Ascent

When you're at the very bottom, there's nowhere to go but up Thirteen-year-old Bryte, poor and homeless, lives under a bridge in the flats that surround Tirbat, the seven-tiered capital city of Arucadi. To her, that's the bottom of the world. She's determined to find a way to rise. Her goal is to live on Tirbat's fifth tier, home of the wealthy father who rejected her mother and refuses to acknowledge her. But how can she possibly accomplish that goal when she endures such a hardscrabble existence?
