As an early childhood educator of many years, author Kerissa Poss often heard kids describe the color brown as 'ugly,' 'dirty,' or 'too dark.' However, brown is beautiful! It can be friendly like a dog's wagging tail or strong like a tall tree. Brown is the color of chocolate, and everyone loves chocolate!
