Brittany's Best Gift

Brittany loved living in Florida, going to the beach, and playing with her friends. When her dad had to transfer to a new job in North Carolina, she was heartbroken. She didn't want to move or leave her Grandma Rose. There were many surprises in North Carolina for Brittany. She and Sparky, her little dog, loved her princess tower room. She found new friends at the new school. Brittany learned some kids at her new school were afraid to walk past her neighbor's house and she was very curious to find out why. From her princess tower room, Brittany and Sparky could look right into the neighbor's reading room. When the stranger caught them looking into her window, her beady eyes glared as she shook a piece of firewood at them. "Could she really be that mean?" Brittany was determined to find out why. It was Christmas when a determined Brittany discovered what to do.
