Beatrix Potter (1866–1943) is one of the world’s most-loved children’s authors. Throughout her lifetime she wrote and illustrated 28 children’s books and created characters that are still loved today. Her books have sold over 100 million copies, and the story of her life as well as her books have been made into films.
