George Thomas Henry Soper, Carolyn's grandfather, immigrated to Canada, from England, in 1911. Working in various endeavours, he explored the Canadian experience with enthusiasm and courage. His autobiography is shared by his family, as a tribute of thanks in bringing his future generations to a wonderful country.
