The young Bruce Arnold is a cattleman who takes the reins and responsibility of his parents' cattle station in north Queensland's dry tropics. He needs to juggle a large debt, the expenses of a station in unpredictable conditions and still derive a comfortable living.It's a roller coaster ride both for the business and his personal life. In among learning and applying new science to his breeding program and farm management, his mum gets diagnosed with cancer, a young boy goes missing and he navigates the unchartered territory of romance in the bush.Will it all come together in the way that he hopes?
