Breathless

With Jeremy/Luke and all of their shapeshifting friends now protecting Julia 24/7, Xavier and Luke have formed a reluctant truce. Julia continues to work on her newly discovered shapeshifting abilities; the ones that will help her to become what is predicted to be the most powerful shapeshifter. Meanwhile she has to continue balancing her new world while still struggling to finish high school, deaf and keep that life hidden from Jill, Helen, and her mom. Though life is not turning out to be quite as Julia pictured it, she is beginning to come to terms with the fact that she is inexplicably tied, forever, to Xavier. Though he is still the most frustrating guy she has ever met, he is also, undeniably, the sexiest. Bonding is becoming less of a chore and more of a pleasure for them both. Just when things start to calm down, she has trouble on the farm when one of her favorite calves goes missing. It starts a chain of events that will bring Julia closer to ending "The Others", while revealing that all of her friends, from both worlds have been keeping secrets. Secrets so big, they leave Julia....breathless.
