Detective Caleb Judge has some demons frolicking in his mind.
When the shadows become too much, his best friend insists on Caleb leaving the city for the quiet of a small town. Though Caleb doesn't particularly want to leave, he knows as long as he can't control the nightmares, they would control him.
Jared Harlow was never good with people. That's why he lives where he does. Fighting writer's block to finish his next novel, he couldn't say no to a cop in need. But he isn't prepared for the way his body reacts to Caleb.
