This is a much-needed picture book for children to understand the special way of relating to a rescue cat. Children naturally want to run up to a cat, pick the cat up and cuddle. For a cat who may have never had contact with a human being or who may have been abused or neglected, this is too much, too fast. In Brave Buddy, the little girl takes cues from the cat, and slowly trust and love grow between them. THIS IS RESCUE AT ITS BEST.
