Bravado

The poems in this book represent a further development on the part of the poet, Elizabeth Martina Bishop. She sees intently into the unseen and unspoken words she culls from nature. While she admits she wants nature to solve every problem and challenge she encounters, of course this remains an impossible paradigm. If Mother Nature can solve many problems, She cannot dissolve all the problems of life encountered by the mystic seer. With that being said, can poetry inspire human beings to take care of the planet?
