Bartolomeo Bosco, 1793-1863, born in Turin, became one of the greatest conjurers of the 19th century. This new biography describes his career and his family in detail against the background of his rivals and competitors, especially the many who stole his name, performing as far afield as North and South America, Asia, and Australia.
