Since Martin Teebs drove out of Lincoln, NM for the final time, he's paid a 35 year penance for his role in the events of July 14, 1881. While most people believe he was lost to history, he lived a quiet life just up the road from Billy the Kid's famous grave. Quiet, that is, until an incredible discovery on his own property led him to take action in one of the most controversial events in the history of New Mexico and the Old West.
