Beskrivelse
From free healthcare for all in the twentieth century to no care at all for numerous UK citizens in the twenty-first, due to the foundering National Health Service (NHS)! The author was latterly employed in London. This is thus a brief history of healthcare in Britain in recent years. This book also encompasses the beginnings of female medical education culminating in the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine.Contributions to medical training in overseas countries, including former colonial possessions – some accepted with gratitude and others not – are also described.
