Bobbie Jean Chamblee Thomas

Bobbie Jean Chamblee Thomas May 9, 1936 - July 12, 2015 Bobbie Jean Chamblee Thomas went to be with the Lord, July 12, 2015 at Christus St. Michael's Hospital in Atlanta TX. She was 79 years old. Bobbie was an incredible mother; she was always there for those she loved, but was never intrusive. She always gave good advice and was willing to help anyone. She always had her bible with her, and although she was small, she had a lion's heart. She loved her cat Tazzy. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband David John Thomas, her parents Tom and Earline Chamblee, and her sons Damon and Douglas Thomas. She is survived by her sons Doyle Thomas and wife Janice of Queen City TX and Dwight Thomas and wife Julie of Queen City TX; her daughter Denise Haener and husband Larry of Independence OR and her brothers Charles Chamblee and wife Beatrice of Queen City TX and Wessley Chamblee and wife Christine of Queen City TX. The family extends a hand of gratitude and recognition to Wesley house and Dierkson for their exemplary care of Bobbie during the latter stages of life. Bobbie was cremated under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home. A memorial service was offered in Bobbie's honor at Queen City Funeral Home, Thursday, July 16, 2015 beginning at 10:00 am.
