In the shadow of September 11, a mysterious vessel, laden with Iraqi refugees, is drifting stricken off the coast of Western Australia. Caught in a tropical cyclone, it is driven onto the continent's rocky shoreline. Out of the wreckage emerge two heroes. Major David Black, Australian Army, reluctantly thrust into the limelight.
