After everything Cassie went through with her sister Lark in Magick Thief she wanted some time to figure out what to do with herself and regarding The Order. Everything was falling into place until it wasn't.

All she wanted was a personal life and to figure out who the hell is going to end the world. But Carik trying to protect her, pissed her off and sent her down a rabbit hole that could change everything.
