She is legally blind, a peer advisor for VisionAware, the mother of four children, a vocalist and sensory cook who encourages people to look beyond limitations and create opportunities. Maribel has demonstrated ‘cooking in a tactile kitchen’ on Sydney TV, ABC Radio National and a Taste of the World Youtube. She is often interviewed on radio programs and podcasts worldwide.
