After saving Adrianna and realizing how incredibly selfish she really is, Brandon finds himself running for his life all while still trying to protect her. Despite escaping certain death, his new found love flees Purgatory by using Brandon's only free pass and finds herself training for the dangerous sport of Reckless Thrashing. Through all of this, Brandon still follows her and hopes to recover her by traveling to Briggsville, a place thought to be strewn with chemical waste and mutants affected by it.Although Adrianna is successful in her training, she still faces the possibility of being taken over by Nadia, Redden's only surviving child, and all the Thrasers who just so happen to be Synthetic humans. It serves as an issue, being that Adrianna is the only female human alive during this time.After competing and making it to the finals, it seems the battle has just begun as the city of Briggsville is now under attack by the Redden Family Army, leading Adrianna, Brandon, Thomas and Eliza running for their lives once again.
