In the early 13th century, Morgana Blackwood, a powerful sorceress fleeing persecution in Europe, founded the Blackwood Coven in the remote forests of England. The coven, descendants of ancient Druids, sought refuge in the mystical energies of the land. They constructed a grand stone manor infused with protective charms and wards to serve as their sanctuary.

Morgana, in her quest for power, discovered a portal to the netherworld beneath the manor. Her attempt to harness its dark energies unleashed a powerful demon. With her dying breath, Morgana bound the demon to the manor, creating an eternal struggle to keep it imprisoned.

Centuries later, Elara Blackwood, a formidable witch and the last of her line, led the coven in maintaining the wards that held the demon. Despite their efforts, the demon's malevolent influence persisted, and the coven faced increasing threats from dark forces seeking to unleash it.

In a final desperate battle, Elara and her partner Dorian performed a forbidden ritual, sacrificing themselves to permanently seal the portal. Their ultimate sacrifice ensured the demon remained bound, but the coven struggled to survive without their leaders.

Over time, the manor fell into disrepair, and the Blackwood Coven's legacy faded into legend. By 2024, the manor was a crumbling ruin, catching the attention of real estate developers. As a real estate agent tapped a "For Sale" sign in front of the house, the ancient power beneath the manor lay dormant, waiting to be rediscovered.
