From the cradle to the grave, we endure, we brave this world - the only sanctuary, haven, home, and prison on offer. We crave life, embrace sorrow, beat the drums for the inevitable grey voids that dominate the wasted hours, and push ourselves to the cathartic limits for the sake of any personal freedom. Peace is the gift, the promise to us all. But when we succumb to our sorrow, the darkness of our human nature takes centre stage, and we are blinded to the rainbows of better days, seeing only black, white and the inevitable grey.
