Mona, a young gorgeous runaway slave, is devastated to learn that the estranged love of her life, Michael, is set to marry another woman, after she waited for nearly a decade to be his forever. Mona embarks on a journey of utter freedom and self-discovery. In her attempt to escape her plantation, for good, she meets a strikingly handsome Native American man named Wild Heart, who was awe struck by her beauty, and pledged to protect her from the plantation search party, her would be captors, at all cost. During this course of events, Mona learns that Michael’s marriage is arranged, and that he only fancies her, and has longed for her love for over a decade as well.
