Bittersweet Souls

Determined to forget her past, Cricket Evans thrives as a food photographer in St. Louis, Missouri. Yet, a deep bitterness festers underneath her phony persona. When her mother falls ill, she is forced to return to Apple Springs, the childhood home she has avoided for the last six years. Unable to tolerate the make-believe perfection of the small town, Cricket plans to keep her visit short. After all, she has her real life to get back to as soon as possible.
