Having given up everything for the man she loved, Sheila finds herself isolated in Switzerland. Finally free of her abusive husband, but left to raise their young daughter on her own, she sets about rebuilding her life. Launching both her and her daughter on a course that leads to crossing not only continents but also emotional divides.
