Bitter Promise

Adrift after leaving the army for which he has given up everything, Arrington Pentecost resumes his personal quest for revenge, seeking the man against whom he long ago swore a blood oath of vengeance. Maimed in body, crippled in spirit, he is determined to bring down not only his enemy, but the vast criminal organization enacting the man's bidding. Resolute to the point of losing his soul, he drifts ever further from his own humanity, journeying down a path of shadows that leads him farther and farther from home.
