Birthright: The Immortal Forest

In a carnivorous forest on a dark moon, a rite of passage intended for sons is changed forever when the king has a daughter. From the day she was born, before her mother could even bestow upon her a name, the Princess was plunged into a realm no daughter was ever meant to enter. It was only because a young warrior known as Paladin happened to be in the right place at the right time that she was able to live to see the next day. Challenged by vicious beasts that call the Immortal Forest their home, he taught her to survive. Hunted by every other child on Pilgrimage that wishes to steal her Birthright as their own, he taught her to fight. But when a dark and powerful evil surfaces and corrupts their most sacred and ancient tradition, and then takes a personal stake in apprehending them, all her years of training will be pushed to the breaking point. Unfortunately, even if she survives to reach her Fulfillment, there's no guarantee the tyrannical king has left anything to return too.
