Bioinstrumentation

The growth of science and technology is quite astonishing. Thissuccess is due to the development of new tools and techniques. Bioinstrumentation is defined asthe instrumentation techniques and principles for the measurementof physical, physiological, biochemical and biological factors inman or other living organisms. There was a long-felt need amongthe students and teachers of biology for a textbook that willconcentrate on the bioinstrumentation syllabus that has beenintroduced in the curriculum of life sciences of many Indianuniversities. The present work is an attempt to make available abook that will provide comprehensive knowledge about the basicprinciples and applications of the instruments generally used inbiology. This book also encompasses the tools and techniques usedin the growing field of molecular biology.
