Biography of Wang Shitai

Wang Shitai (1910-2008), male, Han nationality, was born in a farmer's family in Luochuan County in Shaanxi Province. In April 1929, he joined the Party. In 1930, he joined in the guerrilla forces lead by Liu Zhidan. In January 1947, he became the leader of the forth troop of northwest army. He led his army in battles like 'Yiwa', 'Guanzhong', 'Fumei' and 'Lnazhou'. He made great contricutions to the liberation of the northwest. After the establishment of China, he undertook provincial political chairman and the manager of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. Wang Shitai is one of the pioneers in northwest battle field. He made great contribution to the liberation and the establishment of China. The book is a biography about Wang Shitai's revolution and construction. Based on real material, the book gave a full description to his life experience and his achievemnts in the battle filed as well as the establishment of new China.
