Beskrivelse
Taking fully into account a half-century of immense changes in Mid-East politics, travel, labour, this book might best be regarded as a job description for one aiming at the low-paying but much needed chair of Archaeology-Geography in an Institute of higher biblical studies. The applicant will have a modest string of publications relating to college degrees, not so much Archaeology cognate to Anthropology, but rather Near Eastern (or even Classical) Studies, chiefly the history, religions, and documents of Egypt and Mesopotamia deciphered by two centuries of digging.
