Bible Study Nuggets, Vol. 2

This work is produced and sent out with sincere hope and prayer that it may serve at least four uses: First, we sincerely pray that there may be those who find it useful as an aid to daily devotionals. Each article is reasonably brief and may be read at one sitting in only a few minutes. In this capacity, perhaps, some may have their thoughts turned to spiritual matters and the reader may reflect on its content throughout the day as opportunity arises. Second, it is our hope and prayer that some may find herein messages that are suitable for bulletin articles. We would encourage such use as long as the articles are not tampered with in such a way as to misquote what we have written, or used to convey in any way a message different than the one intended by the author. Third, as the title would suggest, these articles may be easily expanded into much more detailed lessons. We would be happy if these may be found suitable as nuggets for sermon preparation or Bible class material. Again, the only restriction that we would apply, is that no article be tampered with or changed in any way as to suggest a message or lesson that is different than the one intended in the original article. Fourth, we would certainly be gratified if any should find these articles helpful to anyone who wishes to study in more detail the thoughts that are suggested by each of the articles. Hopefully, and with much prayer, we wish that readers may find helpful this material as a guide for further and deeper study of the Bible. An attempt has been given to provide sufficient Scripture reference in each article to enable a much more complete study and understanding of the word of God in any and all areas that are treated within the scope of this book. It is always desirable to study Scriptures in their context. It is also very important on matters being studied, to consider all Scriptures that may be found that touch on the matter under consideration. Any time a single statement is lifted from its context and used alone, and without reference to other related passages, it is very easy to come away without a true and accurate understanding. With these thoughts in mind, it is our genuine hope and prayer that this book may be helpful, and that any who come into contact with the material within it pages, may be encouraged toward a closer walk with God.
