The enemy groups' sinister motives unfold as Bui and her companions debate harshly, considering their options, leaving her grappling with conflicting emotions. As the truth behind their immunity to the toxic radiation emerges, they face an impossible choice: take the risk and leave Jade Street, a sanctuary they've made home, or succumb to the hell that threatens to consume them all.
