Beskrivelse

In the small Southern town of Slidell, Louisiana, one year after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, the photography studio Gracie works for moves into their new location... an old house. Almost immediately strange occurrences start to happen, causing the employees to wonder about the history of this old house. Gracie begins to fall in love with her co-worker Johnny, who recently sustained a paralyzing injury after Katrina. The two battle with their feelings, Gracie wondering if she should fall for the guy she works with and Johnny wondering if he is man enough for her even in his wheelchair. During this time, the other employees deal with the drama in their own lives, such as finding love, fleeing from abusive relationships and ultimately discovering what is truly beyond the lens. Beyond the Lens is a generation sequel to the authors' first novel, Some Memories Don't Fade.
