Beyond the Hayfields

Beyond the Hayfields is a narrative about the life of one man and his family. But it's not just a story.  The theme is a wonderful truth: That blessings and forgiveness are not isolated or reserved for a few. They can be seen and appreciated - if searched for - in everyone's life, their experiences, their family, and their own heritage.

The author relates that search in his own life - adventurous years of youth with his twin brother, captivating stories about his heritage, his parents and siblings, valuable life experiences including service in the U.S. Air Force as a navigator, working as an attorney for KFC and Holiday Inns, uplifting and moving events about his own family (marriage and six children including two older children adopted from Korea), and true, inspirational accounts about the many people who influenced him for good. When searching the paths of his life, he also discovered mistakes, rebellion, failure, and going down wrong paths. Beyond all this, there could be seen undeserved, yet unfailing, redemption that lifted the spirit and created a new attitude and direction just when needed.

One supreme message is conveyed: God does not leave us alone. He cares, He blesses, He directs, He provides - even for the sparrow Scripture says. Hopefully, you will someday discover and tell about this truth in your own unique life!
