This fictional book is about the story of Michael Deveraux, who narrates his life to the readers. Setting a goal for himself comes with obstacles from those who display their hatred toward him because of how he looks. Michael begins to look at himself and feels he is not worthy enough to do anything because he is not accepted. Being bullied is never easy, especially when it comes not only from children but from adults as well. In his mind, Michael's world was dark until someone entered his life and showed him that love and determination could bring him out of his darkness and into a lighted world that is full of life and victorious for him. Born of Indian and Pakistan descent, Michael takes you on a journey relatable to people everywhere.
