Architect and builder Sean Dunbar knows that his wife Alma will always look back at their time in Spindle Cottage, Suffolk, as something positive. In many ways, her experiences of that time brought her a deep healing, strong friendships; and a new, if somewhat strange, path forward in life.For Sean, the experience did much the same - but he hadn't welcomed the changes. He hadn't wanted to be drawn into the surreal realms beyond the life he already knew and enjoyed. It seemed to have imposed itself on him.When they closed the garden gate behind them that last time, they both left agreeing they never wanted to see the place again. But they also both knew the changes Spindle Cottage had wrought upon them would live in them for the rest of their days.
