But one fateful night, on what was supposed to be a shakedown run for his newly bequeathed warship, the Reckless, his penchant for bad luck drags his slightly dysfunctional family into a myriad of near-fatal misadventures. Run-ins with a mysterious assailant and the hazards of flying in an untested vessel then bring forth enemies old and new.
