Betrayed in Taiwan

When her father dies off the coast of Baja, Alia is devastated and left with no family. Then she is told someone might try to get the billions she inherited. There is also a note she finds from her father encouraging her to get away with contact information for someone in the FBI. She doesn't understand why it is necessary, but she always did what her father said before he died, so why stop now? She has a teaching job offer in Taiwan and decides to take it while the FBI look for the man after her father's money - her money.

But in Taiwan, she receives threatening messages and notices a stranger watching her. Alia isn't sure who to turn to besides her new co-teachers, like the intriguing Blake Hansen. As she endures attempted kidnapping and poisoning, she starts to think that maybe she would have been safer at home.
