Beskrivelse
Beside Many Waters is ultimately a book about Hope. It intimately unveils the birthing of a young girl's calling and preparation to leave the comfort of normal to venture, step-by-step, into the waters of nations Jesus leads to her and her to them. She learns to wait, to try, to run, to release, to forgive herself and others. She learns there is peace, love, and joy in the eye of trauma, and laughter is the best medicine for a sick heart, ailing body, and broken dreams.
It is a journey that takes a lifetime and more. As a child in the sandbox of life, she is aware that sin, as sand, is in this box, but it is not her and it is not the other children. It is something that happens while playing in this box of life. She learns that temptation is part of the journey, and the difference between a saint and sinner is the covering of the blood of Jesus. He covered her sandy nakedness as a loving Father with His cloak of life-giving, sacrificial blood.
God calls, chooses, and equips. He gives on the job training, faithfully pulling her out of guilt and condemnation by gently shining His Light of Love onto her path, one step at a time.
