Bella, a young lawyer, has been hired by a firm in Wilmington, NC. Florence wants to give that land as a sea turtle sanctuary at her aunt's request. The local government is pressuring with a long list of reasons for her to call it off. Meanwhile strange letters begin to arrive for Bella. Who has sent them? Why has it happened? And how do they arrive.
