Ben and the Bullies

Ben and the Bullies follows a young boy named Ben, that after changing schools, experiences bullying for the first time. The story discusses the physical and emotional aspects of bullying, that all too often keep victims silent. Ben and the Bullies is unique in that the audience is young readers. In today's world, learning coping skills when dealing with bullying is a crucial life skill. The earlier these skills are learned, the greater the chance for happy, well adjusted kids. The questions for discussion at the end of the book help to build a dialogue with kids, to bring the messages in the story to a personal level, that helps them apply the lessons learned.
