Behind The Veil

I was just eight years old when they decided to put me into a veil. My abusive father decided to make a deal and marry me off to a man I barely knew. My mother tried protecting me from his wrath but she couldn't stop my destiny from playing out. Within those few moments everything changed and my whole world turned upside down.
