Before the Ashes

Coming from a long line of firefighters, I'm no stranger to flames. When Kip Kitson comes into the picture though, he sparks a fire I'm not sure how to put out. 

He's the perfect package: tall, muscular, and Australian with an accent to die for. 

After a single night together, we decide to take a chance and explore what could be. It's a complete whirlwind of sweet words, delicate touches, and one steamy amazing night. 

But just as quickly as everything starts, tragedy strikes and threatens to end what we're starting to build. 

Can we nurse the spark between us, or will it fizzle out and leave us in the dark?
