How can you kill something so small, so fast, that only appears at night?
The old saying - 'NIGHT, NIGHT, SLEEP TIGHT & DON'T LET THE BEDBUGS BITE' - becomes more than just words after a mother speaks it to her child, in this story set in a small town infested with tiny, killer, alien insects.
As a child, my mother would say the old bedbugs saying after tucking me into bed at night, but that saying freaked me out that I would sleep under the covers so the bedbugs couldn't bite me...Many years later, I wrote a story based on my fear growing up...
When unsolved murders from 1947 are linked with a murdering spree happening in 2020, the people of Lemonsville become worried. It takes the police chief on a journey to find answers, but time is running out as more people are either killed or taken in the night. Now, the townsfolk are blaming each other for the deaths.
But it's not until members of a vigilante group are found dead that the chief realizes it's not a human he's looking for.
Now, he must unravel the truth before the dark shadow that lurks in the darkness kills again.
