Going through hell is never easy. As I walked through my season of trials I needed help; I needed to know how to get from here (the trials I thought would destroy me) to there (my breakthrough moment). As I heard testimonies from others at their breakthrough moments, I struggled with questions such as: Does God even hear my prayers? If He does, then why isn't He answering them? Why isn't He helping me; doesn't He care that I'm hurting? Where is He in all this mess? How am I supposed to get through this? What about me, Lord? I needed to know how to get to my personal breakthrough moment. This book is written from that perspective, from deep within the fiery season of trials and refinement as the Lord taught me how to be a beautiful overcomer, digging deep to find the gold buried within me as He made beauty from the ashes of my life.
