Volcanologist Radford Hardcastle, studying the volcano at the heart of a quiet midwestern town, finds himself embroiled in a terrifying ordeal alongside his military scientist ex-girlfriend, and a young park ranger as they fight to survive the horrors that are stalking them through the night.
Together they must evade a trio of apex predators harnessing the power of the volcano itself and unravel the conspiracy surrounding their town. They find themselves not only in a race against time to save themselves, but to avert a disaster that could impact the world as they know it.
