Trying to get away from a difficult situation, Hazel moves her daughter to the far north. She needs to hide from her ex husband and the very bad people chasing him. She follows a job posting to a remote community hoping to keep her daughter safe. Never did she expect to find Osian Baughan, her cranky, gruff, hot, new boss. Forcing herself not to notice just how hot he was, Hazel works hard to not lose her temper with his bad attitude. Working closely with him to find the thief stealing from his company the tension between them gets to be more than either of them can handle. Will the result of one lapse in judgment force Hazel to give up her anonymity and her daughter's safety?
Over tired and frustrated, Osian can't handle one more change in his busy life. He owns and runs a successful company with his siblings, he has a son he's raising on his own who he adores who keeps him busy and exhausted. There has been so much loss and hardship in the last few years Osian is just ready for life to settle down. And then Hazel enters his life and what was finally calming down gets tossed in the air again and all Osian can do is wait for it all to settle again and hope for the best.
Or is Hazel the answer to his worries? Could they be everything the other needs?
