In baseball, the winning team is the one that racks up the most runs.
The goal of baseball is to score a run by smacking a pitched ball as far as possible and then stealing home after circling all four of the bases.
When a runner successfully completes a circuit of all four bases without being tagged out, the batting order is reset and the next hitter takes the field.
