Band Room

Angel enjoys his status as a star high school football player. But a bad decision and some bad luck change all of that. Now, he must complete 90 hours of community service in the band room. Rejected by his coach and teammates, Angel finds himself in a place with people and ideas that are unlike any he has experienced before. Meanwhile, his mother's increasingly erratic behavior has turned her into someone Angel no longer recognizes. In his first novel, Bob Seay pits tribalism, anger, and hate against diversity, acceptance, and compassion while reminding us that everyone is doing the best they can.
